Returning from holiday break is the perfect time to reflect upon the past year and to
make positive changes for the
new year. The new year means a fresh start and we
can make promises to ourselves that are positive and realistic.
Here's a list of the most common New Year's resolutions:
1. Get Healthy
Getting healthy doesn't just mean losing weight. It can also mean playing more sports, making healthier eating choices or just resolving to get off the couch a little more often.
2. Get Happier
It can mean different things to different people. What does it mean to you?
3. Be a Better Person
What about some random acts of kindness?
4. Find Love
Being single is an option, and finding a partner is another one. It's up to you!
5. Show More Love to Your Family
Could we be a little nicer to them?
6. Be a Better Friend
The more love you give to your friends, the more love they'll give back to you.
7. Get Better in School
You don't need to suddenly turn yourself into a straight-A student - but if you bump up your school performance by just a little bit this year......
8. Learn Something New
There's nothing more thrilling than the feeling of finally "getting something"... How about putting some of that holiday money towards learning a new hobby?
9. Be a Role Model
You can handle that, right?
10. Make Some Money
Pocket money? Getting a job? Too young to work?...

Is this list suitable for you? Would you change the order in the list? Can you add another resolution?
