London Webquest

Introduction
Have you ever been to London? This time you are going to visit London through the internet. In pairs you are going to find out what you can do in London. With the information you find you will have to make a collage, describing the sights you have chosen and using pictures of the sight. For this WebQuest you have 100 minutes.
Have fun!!!

The Task
You will have to make a collage on an A-3. In that collage you write at least 20 words  about each sight and you will use a picture that goes with the description, i.e. the sight itself. Each pupil is responsible for 3 sights and descriptions. So, because you work in pairs, you will need 6 sights for each A-3 collage. When everyone has finished and has seen all other collages you will all do a quiz to see what you know about the sights of London.

The Process
Follow the steps below:
  1. Find a partner.
  2. Talk about the sights you would like to use for your collage(if you do not know any sights of London, use "The Sources").
  3. Go to "Resources" in order to find useful links. You are also allowed to use a search machine (if you do not know how to use a search machine, go to: basic search help).
  4. Gather the information and pictures given on the websites and print them out. You have to use your own words for the descriptions. So, do not copy every word from the internet!
  5. Make the collage.
  6. Look at the other collages.
  7. Do the quiz.
